Noah was so excited when he woke up Christmas morning, so much in fact,
we literally thought at one point he might explode. :-)
He couldn't wait to run into the front living area
when he woke up to see what all Santa Claus had left for him.
And so the excitement began early Christmas morning the minute
little man came running into the room.
We quickly armed ourselves with the babies and cameras and
followed him in.
I had a little more difficulty this year than usual trying
to capture all the festivities with my camera.
Needless to say, it was pretty chaotic this year juggling little Taylor and
baby boy in the midst of Noah opening his presents.
But it was so much fun seeing all three of them in the room together.
Baby boy was wanting to eat the wrapping paper
and since he didn't have time to eat that morning,
we let him have breakfast in the high chair and play
with a few of his new toys while Noah
finished opening his presents.
Sweet Taylor slept through most of the festivities---but that's okay...
she'll has lots of Christmas mornings to look forward to over the years.
Daddy surprised me with a new black felt cowgirl hat... I've been wanting one forever.
We like to go to the Houston Rodeo each spring and it's a must for the ladies to wear.
I can't wait to go shopping for my fancy rhinestone band to go around it.
Daddy and Noah had a blast putting together the electric train set.
They played with it forever...it was really sweet to listen to them
chit-chat about how cool it is to drive.
Later on that day, we invited the missionaries and some friends
from church over to enjoy our Christmas lunch...
we ate a really tasty ham, Southern-style dressing, green beans, cream corn and rolls.
It was really yummy if I do say so myself.
After lunch, we enjoyed relaxing at the house the rest of the day.
Such a joyous Christmas for our family this year... we have
been so blessed this year to welcome both Taylor and baby boy into our family.
How thankful I am this holiday season for all our blessings..
but more importantly, how thankful I am this season for the Savior...
for his life, his ministry and the sacrifice that He made for us all.
