The hubby had to be in San Antonio last week for a continuing education legal seminar,
so the kids and I drove up on his last day to stay with him and spend some time
down by the Riverwalk.
Noah loves to eat at the Rainforest Cafe, so we enjoyed
taking the kids there and then walking around seeing all the sights by the Riverwalk.
We've really fallen in love with San Antonio--it's a beautiful city and we've enjoyed exploring
all the things to do there as a family.
We stayed at the Westin hotel…which we loved by the way.
It was so cute, while we were in the hotel room,
waiting for the hubby to wrap up one of his last seminars…
Noah was helping kill time by teaching Taylor how to draw hearts. :-)
We had to keep Taylor strapped in the stroller while we walked near the river
because she kept walking too close to the water…
I know her all too well--she definitely would have attempted a swim in there. Oy!!
My favorite time to do the Riverwalk is in the fall and early spring…
the weather is perfect--not too hot or cold.
It was beautiful the day we were there…
Daddy took us to Schilo's and introduced us to the best root beer ever…
oh my goodness!
It's so good.
After our day down at the Riverwalk, we then drove over to our dear friends,
(Nick and Ashly) daughter's birthday party at Pump It Up.
Olivia was turning 5 and the kids were super excited to see her and play on
all the fun bouncy slides.
Nick and the hubby have been dear friends since college…
they met while they were in the Corp of Cadets at Texas A&M University.
Taylor braved the big slide with her brother…
it was so funny.
The hubby so enjoyed getting to visit with Nick's parents…he hasn't seen them in years.
Tay-Tay was tearing up the pizza …
I think she ate 3 whole slices herself!! :-)
Fun times at the Riverwalk and then Olivia's birthday party…
our little princess passed out in the back seat as soon as we pulled out of the
parking lot to leave the birthday party. :-)
