With my extended family in town, we enjoyed continuing our 4th of July celebrations by
attending the annual town parade.
The kids had a blast all getting to pile in the back of the hubby's truck to watch the parade together.
After lunch, the men-fold kindly took the kids back to our house to play while my mom, sisters-in law and I did some shopping in downtown Fredericksburg.
We met back up with the guys and kids and drove over to our 14 acres to let the kids pet the donkeys and see the longhorns.
Uncle Brent brought along some fireworks and the kids had so much fun setting those off.
Such a fun-filled day celebrating the 4th of July with our family in the Hill Country. We ended our day by eating Mexican food in town and then going back to my brother's hotel with the awesome pool and letting the kids swim until dark.
I'm so grateful we were able to spend this holiday with our loved ones and make so many special memories together. We were talking how we'd like to make this a new annual family tradition of having everyone come down to our place for the 4th of July weekend in Fredericksburg.
